About
DAF Academy was founded in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania in May 2015 as a social project to promote Dance, Art and Fitness.
The aim of the academy is to develop both Arts and Fitness as well as associated unexplored industries. We do this by promoting
them, providing a platform to engage, explore and create and wherever possible to bridge the poverty gap. For those who
are unemployed, Dance, Art and Fitness may be a mode of earning a living in addition to providing a healthy lifestyle
and philosophy of life.
To make our organization sustainable and self funded we provide dance, visual arts, martial arts and fitness classes to the
general public. Funds are then used to provide scholarships, financial support and tools to talented low income youths.
